General Terms of Use

By submitting an order on our website you agree to these terms of sale. During the online order process, you will be asked to agree to these terms and we are unable to accept any order unless you do so.

UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003, IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PURCHASE OR ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL. IT IS ALSO AN OFFENCE FOR ANYONE TO PURCHASE OR ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL FOR SOMEONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

By submitting your order you confirm that you are over 18 years of age. If the order is to be sent to an alternative delivery address, the recipient must also be above 18 years of age and may be asked for proof of their age upon delivery. Any images provided on this website are for illustrative purposes only. We endeavour to keep the product’s text description up to date, which will reflect the product as it is currently available.

Prices

All prices on this site are per 70cl bottle unless otherwise stated. Prices include UK duty and VAT at the current rate. Whilst we make every effort to ensure prices on our site are correct, prices may change from time to time due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include but are not limited to, increases in duty, VAT or other taxes or adverse currency fluctuations. Should this be the case, we will contact you prior to completing your order to advise you of the difference in price. All prices shown on the site are valid for online orders only and are not applicable to transactions made in person at our shop.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.
Promotional prices and offers are as stated and there are no further discounts available. Any promotional end date is to be used as a guideline only, we reserve the right to amend the promotion at any point during the promotional period.

Please note that prices on this site may vary from those in our shops or events and special offers on this site may or may not be available in our shops or events and vice versa.

Other Substitutes

If a particular product is no longer available, we may offer an alternative. If we intend to do this we will contact you with the details and you will have the option of a refund at this point.

Payment

All goods must be paid for in full before dispatch. Payment is to be made online through Stripe Payments UK or by PayPal. We reserve the right to request alternative means of payment (such as bank transfer) for large orders.

Delivery

All deliveries must be thoroughly checked for breakages and shortfalls at the time of delivery before being signed for. We are unable to reimburse for any breakages or shortfalls unless they are advised to the delivery driver upon delivery. Any shortfalls or breakages must also be reported to Lea Valley Gin Distillery within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

For orders of all items, we normally guarantee delivery within five working days of your order.

We use an independent courier. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be received in person as a signature will be required. Deliveries are only made Monday to Friday.

If you are out at the time of delivery you will be left a card asking you to contact the local depot who will be able to rearrange delivery.

The products will be returned to us if they have not been collected from the courier 7 days after the first delivery attempt, and we reserve the right to pass on the cost of re-delivery in this event.

No one who is or appears to be under the age of 18 will be allowed to accept the delivery on your behalf. If this occurs, the delivery will be returned to the depot where you will be able to rearrange delivery.

Mainland UK delivery (excluding Scottish Highlands) is £5, for all orders under £50 (inc VAT).

We only deliver to UK Mainland addresses. We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

Export Restrictions

We are only able to deliver to UK addresses.

Cancellations/Returns

All deliveries must be thoroughly checked for breakages and shortfalls at the time of delivery before being signed for. We are unable to reimburse for any breakages or shortfalls unless they are advised to the delivery driver upon delivery.

You must notify us of any problems with your order as soon as possible either by email at info@leavalleygin.com. We will refund any missing or damaged items provided the delivery driver is notified at the time of delivery and we are notified within 48 hours of delivery.

We will provide a full refund for any gin which we agree to be out of condition. We may require the gin to be returned to us and will refund any postage costs incurred.

Shipping

To return your product, please mail your product to: Lea Valley Gin Distillery, Studio 7, Unit D, 195 Eade Road, London, N4 1DN.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
